The Johnston Community School District, hereinafter called the Owner, has need of a qualified contractor to complete the work comprising the below referenced improvements. The undersigned Bidder hereby proposes to complete the work comprising the below referenced improvements as specified in the contract documents, which are officially on file at the School District Administration Office, at the prices hereinafter provided in Part C of the Proposal, for the following described improvements. The High School Stadium Turf Replacement project includes removing and salvaging existing infill materials, removing and disposing of the existing turf, repairing the existing granular base and nailer board as necessary, removing, painting and reinstalling the goal posts, furnishing and installing a new synthetic turf system, installing new and salvaged infill materials, and site restoration. Bids must include the required bid security and a Certificate of Insurance consistent with the stated requirements. Bidders must provide a completed Bidder Status Form regarding resident status. Sales or use tax is not to be included in the bid; a sales tax exemption certificate will be provided for materials incorporated into the project. All bids will be governed by applicable provisions of the Iowa Code and Board Policies. Preferences may be given to Iowa products and provisions, as lawfully required. Final payment will be made in accordance with Iowa law. All bid conditions, securities, and forms must be fulfilled as specified in the bid documents, with no conditions except as provided in the specifications.
