Renovation of an office development in Johnston, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 13,164-square-foot, one-story above grade office development.
The general scope of work includes, but is not limited to: Selective demolition and renovation of an approximately 13,164 square foot one-story office building. This project includes all associated utilities and support requirements. Site work includes modifications to existing sidewalks to accommodate new ADA Accessible ramps and parking space painting for ADA Accessible parking stalls. Bids shall be submitted on the enclosed Form of Bid as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. Any construction contractor performing work in Iowa (including out-of-state contractors) must comply with Chapter 91C of Iowa Code. Bidders must comply with all affirmative action/equal employment opportunity provisions of the State of Iowa and the Federal Government. The Build America Buy America Act will apply to this work. The Iowa Department of Public Defense reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive irregularities and to accept a bid that is deemed in the best interest of the State of Iowa and the Iowa Army National Guard.
