Addition to a fire / police facility in Roxbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the addition of a fire / police facility.
Sealed bids are invited for the Roxbury Firehouse Ambulance Addition. Proposals must be submitted on the provided forms, in a sealed envelope addressed appropriately and plainly marked. A mandatory pre-bid conference is required for all prospective bidders. This contract is subject to state spending allocation goals and contract compliance requirements, including set-asides for DAS-certified Small Businesses and Minority-, Women-, and/or Disabled-owned Businesses. Bidders must provide a satisfactory Bid Bond or Certified Check equal to five percent of the base bid; a 100% Performance, Labor and Material Bond is also required. Sureties must be listed on the most recent IRS circular 570. Compliance with Davis-Bacon wages and certain local and state requirements is necessary. Contract Documents can be viewed and purchased online; contractors must register to receive addenda. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, or to accept any bid deemed in the best interests of the Town. Bids are valid for sixty days.
