Description

Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Fresno, California. Working plans call for the construction of a educational facility.

Construction of a new building on the Fresno City College campus on the site of existing parking lot T. The new building will include indoor and outdoor shop spaces, classrooms, storage, offices, restrooms, workrooms, and other similar spaces for various CTE and applied technology programs being relocated from the existing T buildings on campus. Programs planned for relocation are: Electric Technology; Manufacturing and Industrial Technology; Industrial Systems Technology and Maintenance; Graphic Arts & Design; Construction Crafts Technology; Architectural Technology; Drafting Technology; Photography; and HVAC. General scope includes: programming; development of schematic designs, design development, cost estimating, and construction documents; structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering; compliance with all applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and federal/local laws; site investigations, surveying, and permitting; site preparation, excavation, and site utilities; foundation, structural framing, exterior envelope, and interior finishes; and all other work necessary for completion and close-out of the total construction project.
