Site work for a water / sewer project in Riegelsville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed proposals are requested for the "2026 Water Curb Stop Replacement Program." The project consists of the replacement of fifteen (15) existing water system curb stop valves and boxes and five (5) locations throughout the Riegelsville Borough Water system. Bids must be administered via PennBid. Proposals are to be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, payable to the Borough of Riegelsville. The successful bidder must furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each for one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. Prevailing minimum wage rates as set forth in the contract documents must be paid. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against due to race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or disability. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. The Contractor agrees to furnish all labor, superintendence, materials, plant and other utilities and facilities for; perform all work necessary for or incidental to; and perform all other obligations imposed by this Contract for the complete work in connection with 2026 Water Curb Stop Replacement Program, Riegelsville Borough herein called for, to the satisfaction of the Owner and all in strict accordance with the Contract Documents as prepared by Cowan Associates, Inc., acting as and entitled the Engineer in this Contract
