Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Vestal, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility.
Sealed proposals in duplicate are requested by the Board of Education, Vestal Central School District, for Capital Project - Phase 3 African Road, specifically for Prime Contract No. 3: Electrical. The project includes construction in conjunction with the purchase of additional elements through cooperative purchasing and state contract, according to Drawings, Project Specifications, and other Bidding and Contract Documents prepared by Highland Associates. Bids are to be prepared in accordance with the requirements specified in the Instructions to Bidders and Supplementary Instructions to Bidders. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner as described in the instructions. The Owner may, at its discretion, waive informalities in bids or reject any and all bids, but will not waive any informality that results in unfair advantage. No bidder may withdraw a bid within forty-five days after the date of bid opening unless a mistake or error is claimed per the instructions. Contract documents can be obtained from Dataflow Inc. in electronic or print format, with further details provided for registration and acquisition. No partial sets of documents will be distributed. New single story steam addition - Existing egress stair renovation (Level 2 Alteration) - Unit ventilator and casework replacement at select classrooms (Level 1 Alteration) - Existing library and select adjacent room renovations (Level 2 Alteration Question Deadline 03/03/2026 at 12:00 PM Questions shall be directed to Jeff Bond at LeChase Construction at email jeff.bond@lechase.com. CONTRACT No. #3: Prime Contract- Electrical 1. Provide all labor, material, supervision, equipment, scaffolding, layout, engineering, deliveries, trucking, hoisting, rigging, shop drawings, submittals, and all other items related and required to complete all work in accordance with the Contract Documents but is not limited to, the following: 2. SPECIFICATIONS a. Division 23 - HVAC 1) Specification section 23 08 00 - Commissioning of HVAC, provide necessary electrical support for completion of commissioning as indicated by Commissioning Agent 2) Specification section 23 09 00 - Instrumentation and Control for HVAC, provide electrical support as necessary for successful implementation of HVAC Instrumentation and controls. b. Refer to Specification Section 22 00 00 for coordination of work c. Refer to Specification Section 23 00 00 for coordination of work d. Provide the complete work of Division 26 - ELECTRICAL e. Provide the complete work of Division 27 - COMMUNICATIONS 3. All roof penetrations to be cut by the General Contractor. Layout provided by the trade requiring the penetration. 4. The Contractor represents they have expertise in the performance of Work for this trade and assures all items to be complete, functional and installed in accordance with the best practices consistent with premium quality material and workmanship. 5.
