Renovation of a municipal facility in Edmundston, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The City of Edmundston is inviting interested tenderers to present an offer for the Edmundston City Hall Skylight Replacement. Tender documents for the contract may be obtained at the reception desk of the Edmundston City Hall, by e-mail, or by phone. A mandatory site visit will be held by appointment only with a city representative present. Participation in this visit requires prior registration. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 10% of the tender price, payable to the City of Edmundston, must accompany the tender. The successful tenderer will be required to provide a Performance and a Labour and Material Payment Bond each in the amount of 50% of the accepted tender price, or a certified cheque in the amount of 20% of the accepted tender price. The required bonds must be in the form prescribed by Regulation 2021-81 under the Construction Remedies Act, S.N.B. 2020, c.29, and must extend protection to Subcontractors and other persons supplying services or materials to the Bidder for the Work, as required by the regulation. Tenders must be signed and include the name, address, and phone number of the tenderer. Sealed tenders indicating the name and address of the bidder on the envelope marked "EDMUNDSTON CITY HALL SKYLIGHT REPLACEMENT, TENDER CALL 2026-038, FEBRUARY 26, 2026" will be received by the Municipality of Edmundston at the reception desk of the Edmundston City Hall, by mail or e-mail until 2:00 p.m. (local time) on the closing date. Public opening of tenders will follow immediately and will also be broadcast on Facebook Live. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted, and tenders received after the specified closing time and date will not be accepted. The latest revision and amendments of the Procurement Act, the Goods and Services Regulation, and the Construction Services Regulation shall apply for tendering procedures.
