Description

Site work for a mixed-use development in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The work generally includes, but is not limited to, resurfacing of an asphalt trail, installation of a playground and shelter, and landscaping. All contracts are subject to District rules and regulations. This is a Prevailing Wage job. The Board of Park Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive bid formalities, and accept the lowest responsible bid in the best interest of the District. The lowest bidder will be determined based on the base bid or the base bid and any combination of alternates the Owner chooses to accept. All bids will remain firm for ninety days after the bid opening. Questions must be submitted in writing at least two days prior to the bid opening. Minority and women-owned businesses are encouraged to submit bids and successful bidders are encouraged to utilize minority and women-owned businesses as subcontractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.
