New construction of a recreation facility in Covington, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a recreation facility.
Sealed bids are being requested for the St. Tammany Parks & Recreation District #6 New Gymnasium Building at 83462 LA Highway 1129, Covington, LA 70435. The successful contractor will be required to enter into a contract with the owner and furnish all materials, perform all work, supervise, coordinate, administrate, and be responsible for the entire project. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid and any alternatives. A performance and payment bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract will be required upon execution of the contract, written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana. Bidders must be licensed under Louisiana Contractors Licensing Law for the major classification of building construction. The St. Tammany Parish Recreation District #6 encourages participation from small business, minority-owned firms, veteran-owned firms, and women's business enterprises.
