Demolition for a municipal facility in Summit, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility.

The City of Muskogee is seeking sealed bid proposals from qualified contractors for demolition and abatement services for the property at 26 W. Broadway aka 26 E. Broadway. Proposals may be submitted electronically or in print. Expenses incurred in the preparation of proposals are the sole responsibility of the proposer. The City may select one or more bid proposals for further negotiation or interviews or may reject all. Upon review of all acceptable RFPs, proposals will be evaluated based on a like comparison for the lowest or best bid for demolition/abatement services as deemed required by the City. The vendor with the successful bid proposal will be required to contract with the City and execute all necessary warranties on the work. The City reserves the right to modify, waive, or vary the terms and conditions of this RFP at any time; waive irregularities; reject or refuse any or all proposals; cancel or withdraw the RFP at any time; and accept the bid proposal which, in its sole discretion, best serves the interest of the City. CONTRACTOR will be responsible for contacting Traffic Lighting Solutions and coordinating the removal of the traffic light at located on the NE Corner of Broadway and Main Street, and the replacement of that traffic signal upon completion of the initial stage of demolition. The CONTRACTOR shall demolish the building only and all other items required by these specifications . The foundations and all other hard surface areas shall be left . The CONTRACTOR must demolish the building completely all walls and materials caved in , the contractor salvaging as many of the historic materials as possible for use with other historic properties . The CONTRACTOR is responsible for the removal of the debris pile once the salvageable historic materials have been removed . Curbs and sidewalks when damaged by the demolition process will be replaced to meet and match existing curbs and sidewalks . Fencing and parking lots along property lines will be cleared and will require consultation with remaining adjoining property owners prior to clearance . Those properties adjacent to remaining property owners will be identified . The parking lot to the east of the Muskogee Hotel at 26 W. Broadway aka 26 E. Broadway will not be accessible to any demolition equipment , staging or other activity related to the demolition of the 26 W. Broadway aka 26 E. Broadway building .
