As of March 27, 2026, the project was awarded to GCCI, Inc. but the awarded amount is not available. The Antioch Unified School District is seeking proposals from qualified firms for Lease-Leaseback Construction Services for the John Muir Elementary School New TK/K Building, Restroom Upgrades, and Portables Relocation. The full scope of the project is further set forth in the official Request for Qualifications and Proposals. The project is subject to labor compliance monitoring, prevailing wage requirements by the Department of Industrial Relations, and a skilled and trained workforce requirement. Contractors of all tiers must be registered and qualified to perform public work, and all respondents must be prequalified by the District. First tier electrical, mechanical, and plumbing subcontractors must also be prequalified. Applications for prequalification must be submitted to QualityBidders.com. Contractors who fail to attend the mandatory virtual pre-proposal conference will be disqualified from submitting proposals. Proposals must be delivered to the specified District address by the stated deadline, and proposals submitted via facsimile or email will not be accepted. Deadline for Submittal of Questions February 12, 2026 by 4:00 p.m: All questions, requests for explanation or clarifications of any kind in regard to this RFQ/P shall be made in written form, submitted via email to Austin Gray at bond@antiochschools.net
