Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Ardmore, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the construction of a 2,400-square-foot fire / police facility.

The project is for a pole barn building measuring 40 feet wide by 60 feet long by 14 feet high. Specifications include 4/12 pitch pre-engineered steel trusses set 10 feet on center, 6x6 pressure treated southern yellow pine posts with steel brackets, 2x12 southern yellow pine top girt as the truss carrier, 2x6 southern yellow pine roof purlins and wall girts set 2 feet on center, and a 2x6 pressure treated skirtboard rated for ground contact. The roof, wall, and wainscot materials are 26 gauge metal PBR profile with screws, with the color to be determined. Openings include two 12x12 insulated garage doors on the front, one white 3/0x6/8 Plyco aluminum frame walk-door on the left of the main building, and a framed 10x10 door opening on the side (no door included). No insulation is required. The building is to be constructed on an existing 80x80 concrete pad. Sealed bid instructions: Sealed bids must be delivered to Chief Tim Toone, City of Ardmore, 25844 Main St, Ardmore, TN 38449, and the envelope or mailer must be marked as sealed bids for the Fire Department. The city of Ardmore reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
