The redevelopment of Lionel-Groulx Park includes, but is not limited to, the following elements: -the redevelopment of community gardens; -a service pavilion with changing rooms, toilets, and a mechanical room; -service connections for the pavilion (water, sanitary, and storm sewer); -a parking area; -a permanent canopy-style roof over the skating rink; -a storm sewer system, including retention structures; -an electrical supply network; -general site development (walkways, service roads, and embankments). The Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation is financing and carrying out the following work: -A chiller connected to the rink by insulated underground transmission lines; -A reinforced concrete slab under the chiller and a 10 x 20-foot slab for access by the resurface; -an 86 x 201-foot reinforced concrete slab cooled by a buried central manifold connected to a cold pipe system; -excavation for the installation of a drainage system under the slab and connection to the storm sewer manhole; -a portion of the excavated soil.
