Site work and paving for a road / highway in Farmville, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The Town of Farmville, Virginia, is requesting bids from qualified vendors for street paving for the Farmville Public Works. Work includes milling any existing pavement as needed (with milling requirements determined by the Town of Farmville), overlaying pavement, and fulfilling any other requirements on specified Town streets. Streets included are: East Third Street (from Milnwood Road to Sunchase Boulevard), Ford Street, Greenhouse Road, Milnwood Road, Price Drive, Scott Drive, Spottswood Drive, Allie Court, Barrow Street, Beverley Court, Cabell's Court, Fifth Avenue, Fourth Avenue (from Gilliam Drive to Cabell's Court), Jesse's Way, Lee Drive (from Russell's Way to cul-de-sac), Russell's Way, Sanford Street, Seventh Avenue, and Sixth Avenue. Sealed bids must adhere to the provided plans, specifications, and conditions. ASPHALT OVERLAY PAVEMENT Provide all material, labor, equipment, fees, and insurance coverage to perform overlay pavement, and any other requirements on East Third Street (from Milnwood Road to Sunchase Boulevard), Ford Street, Greenhouse Road, Milnwood Road, Price Drive, Scott Drive, Spottswood Drive, Allie Court, Barrow Street, Beverley Court, Cabell's Court, Fifth Avenue, Fourth Avenue (from Gilliam Drive to Cabell's Court), Jesse's Way, Lee Drive (from Russell's Way to cul-de-sac), Russell's Way, Sanford Street, Seventh Avenue, Sixth Avenue. The asphalt used for the overlay pavement of the streets shall be the SM 9.5A mix and the overlay will be 1.5 inches. All work must be in accordance with VDOT standards. The Town will supply riser rings to the Contractor to install if needed. Any flagger services or mobilization cost should be included in your unit prices. The bid price will be a Lump Sum bid price used in the resulting contract as a not to exceed price by the Contractor. The successful bidder shall commence work within seven (7) days after the Notice to Proceed is given to him/her by the Town. Once the Notice to Proceed has been issued, the successful bidder shall complete all the work by June 30, 2026. Questions relating to this Invitation for Bid should be submitted through the procurement portal no later than March 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.
