Site work and paving for a development in Tallahassee, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a development.

The intent is to obtain competitive pricing for grubbing, ditch pulling, grading, re-crowning, compacting, and rock hauling to maintain and improve roads on Aucilla Wildlife Management Area in Jefferson County, FL, per the provided specifications. Only responsive and responsible contractors will be considered for award. Bidders must submit a definite, firm, unqualified, and unconditional offer to meet all material terms. Submissions not complying with requirements, missing forms, or with incomplete price sheets may be considered nonresponsive. The Commission will consider references, experience, capability, reliability, and business integrity in determining responsibility. The Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive minor irregularities, and to consider all information in determining responsiveness and responsibility. Aucilla Wildlife Management Area (WMA) in Jefferson County, FL From the intersection of U.S. 98 and Powell Hammock Rd. (approximately 2 miles east of the Aucilla River) turn north onto Powell Hammock Rd. Proceed for 4.3 miles on Powell Hammock Rd. and turn left onto Goose Pasture Rd. Proceed west for 3.2 miles on Goose Pasture Rd. and turn right onto unnamed woods road. Proceed north towards Welaunee Landing for 1.3 miles. This is the south end of Job 2. Jobs 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6 are all north of this point. Job 7 are points around the entire Aucilla WMA. This contract is for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supplies and supervision required for completing the work described in sections 2.0 through 6.0 and depicted in Figures 2 through 5. No materials, labor or equipment shall be furnished by the Commission. The total mileage completed may be increased or decreased based on the available budget. 1.2. Contractor shall remove all extraneous materials, equipment and litter associated with the project from the area before final payment will be awarded. 1.3. Contractor shall use every precaution necessary to prevent pollution of rivers and streams by fuel, oils, chemicals or other harmful materials. All creeks will be kept free of Contractor-generated debris. 1.4. Any damage to existing state or county property (i.e. roads, culverts, low water crossings, fences, gates, signs, trees or other natural resources) caused by the Contractor and not within the scope of the project work will be the responsibility of the Contractor. The contractor shall be responsible for the conduct of hired personnel while within the project area.
