Iowa Great Lakes Sanitary District 2024-2026 Forcemain Improvements - Part 2 The work includes construction of approximately 4,000 LF of 18" sanitary forcemain, 2,300 LF of 12" sanitary forcemain, 142 LF of 10" sanitary forcemain, and 400 LF of 6" sanitary forcemain, including 5 air release manholes and 4 maintenance manholes. It also includes construction of approximately 1,538 LF of 24" sanitary sewer and 7 sanitary manholes, together with related items of work, all in accordance with the plans and specifications. A bid shall be submitted online through QuestCDN. Only online electronic bids will be accepted. Prospective bidders must be on the plan holders list through QuestCDN for bids to be accepted. A bid security of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid must accompany each bid. Preference is given to domestic construction materials and to Iowa products, provisions, coal, and labor as lawfully required. Failure to submit a fully completed Bidder Status Form with the bid may result in the bid being deemed nonresponsive and rejected. Sales tax shall not be included in the bid. The Iowa Great Lakes Sanitary District will provide tax exemption certificates and authorization letters for construction materials. Each successful bidder will be required to furnish a corporate surety bond in an amount equal to 100% of its contract price. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interest of the Owner would be best served thereby. Question Deadline 02/19/2026 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing through online. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
