Sealed proposals are invited for the 2026 Memorial Circle Reconstruction in Clintonville, Waupaca County, Wisconsin. The principal items of work include unclassified excavation, EBS and sub base course, storm sewer curb inlets, storm sewer, apron endwall, select crush sub base, base aggregate dense, hot mix asphalt pavement, deck overlay, concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, and topsoil, seeding, and mulch. All proposals must be submitted on bidding forms included in the Project Manual provided by Kunkel Engineering Group, LLC, and in accordance with the provisions of the Project Manual. Bidders must purchase Bid Documents from the Engineer or QuestCDN to submit a bid; reproduction of Bid Documents by Bidders will not be accepted. Prequalification of Bidders is not required. Digital project bidding documents are available for a nonrefundable fee, and hard copies are also available for pickup upon payment of a nonrefundable fee. Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond payable to the City of Clintonville in an amount equal to 5% of the Bid, as a guarantee that if accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Contract, Contract Performance Bond, Payment Bond, and Insurance Certificate(s) within 15 days after the Notice of Award. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the Bidder's Certified Check or Bid Bond as liquidated damages. The City of Clintonville reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for 60 days after the scheduled time for opening bids. The contract letting is subject to Section 62.15 of the Wisconsin Statutes, as applicable.
