Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Vancouver, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Lighting fixtures at the John Oliver Secondary School is in need of an upgrade. Sona Ledalite lighting fixtures meet the electrical standards of the VSB Maintenance Department due to its unique variable mounting position design that allows for symmetrical installation on trusses, beams, and backing in classrooms. This design also helps to mitigate challenges with avoiding asbestos pucks behind tiles during abatement. To date, more than 70 other District school sites have had the Sona Ledalite light fixtures installed. It is the desire of the District to standardize lighting fixtures across the District with the Sona Ledalite lighting fixtures.
