Renovation of an educational facility in Thibodaux, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
All work required shall be completed within 150 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. If the Contractor fails to complete the work or obtain approval for occupancy within this period, the Owner may deduct liquidated damages as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders. The Professional of Record's hourly compensation for continued contract administration will also be deducted from payments due to the Contractor. Bids must be submitted on the Louisiana Uniform Public Works Bid Form, which will only be provided to contractors and subcontractors licensed in accordance with Louisiana law. Contractors must submit their Louisiana Contractors License Number to show they are licensed for BUILDING CONSTRUCTION. To be eligible to bid, contractors must attend the entire Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and complete the required sign-in and sign-out sheets. Questions from bidders must be submitted by email with the project name in the subject area. Bid prices must exclude all taxes and include any shipping charges if applicable. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security of at least 5% of the total amount, and the successful bidder shall furnish a performance bond for 100% of the contract amount prior to contract issuance. No bid may be withdrawn for 45 days after receipt. The lowest responsible and responsive bidder will be selected. All drawings, specifications, and contract documents are available for review online or at the Architect’s office.
