Question Deadline 03/03/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than three (3) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The project consists of interior and exterior alterations to the existing building, the addition of a North Ambulance Bay, and site construction for the building addition. Bids will be received for a single prime contract and shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least five percent of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the Bidder as soon as the contract is signed. If after 15 days the Bidder fails to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. Online bidders are required to deliver the original certified check, bank money order, or bid bond within 72 hours of bid opening to Delta 3 Engineering. Bids may not be withdrawn within 90 days after the date of bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity of any item or portion of the work, or to omit portions of the work, as deemed necessary by the Owner, and this shall in no way affect or void the contract, except that additions to or deductions from the contract price will be appropriately made. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids, or any part of a bid, and to award the contract to the Bidder who, in the judgment of the Owner, will best serve the interest of the Owner.
