Question Deadline 02/20/2026 at 12:00 PM PT Bid Package Group 9 (8.1 Window Restoration) is part of the University of Washington Seismic Improvements Phase 5A at Suzzallo Library. Contractors are to submit sealed bids for window restoration, with an engineer's estimate for the base bid of $850,000 and alternates of $200,000. All bids must adhere to public bidding rules, be submitted on the proper bid form, and fulfill the requirements of the instructions to bidders. Faxed bids, bids not on the proper bid form, and those not meeting requirements will not be accepted. A bid bond of 5% of the base bid amount is required for bids exceeding $300,000. Awarded contracts over $300,000 must provide a performance and payment bond. Bids must remain valid for 90 calendar days. Trade contractors must recognize and be bound by labor agreements with the Carpenters, Laborers, Cement Masons, and Operating Engineers unions.
