The Work consists of complete streets improvements along Village Street and Holliston Street in the Town of Medway, Massachusetts. The proposed improvements include realigning Holliston Street with Village Street, installation of a shared-use path on the north side of Village Street, curb modifications along the south side of Village Street, curb modifications at the intersection of Holliston Street and Pine Street, the dead ending of Church Street, sidewalk reconstruction throughout the project limits, and the relocation of the Matondi Square Memorial and features. The Work includes earth excavation, full depth reconstruction, cement concrete sidewalks, granite curbing, drainage structures & pipe, traffic signage, pavement markings, flag pole relocation, monument relocation, miscellaneous plantings, and all work incidental thereto, in accordance with the Contract Documents attached hereto. The TOWN OF MEDWAY, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for the Village Street at Holliston Street Complete Streets Improvements project in Medway, MA. MassDOT prequalification of Contractors with the class of work as, Highway - Construction, for the project with an estimated value of $782,367.50 will be required. Bids are subject to MGL c.30 39M and minimum wage rates per MGL c.149 26 to 27H inclusive.
