This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Toronto, Ontario. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.
The Toronto District School Board seeks to secure contracts with qualified bidders for miscellaneous and emergency electrical repairs at various sites as needed. The contract will be for a two-year firm price period. Bidders must provide a clear basis for pricing if unable to quote firm prices for the contract term. The Board may extend the contract for up to two additional one-year periods under the same terms and mutually agreed pricing. Key evaluation criteria include price (80 points), technical experience with institutional facilities (10 points), and response time & availability (10 points). Bidders should have experience with large, older school buildings, legacy electrical infrastructure, fire alarm interfaces, emergency power, and lighting systems, as well as a strong compliance record. Bidders must guarantee emergency response times (e.g., under 4 hours), ensure adequate staffing and vehicle resources, and support 24/7 emergency services. There must be a single point of contact and responses to initial notifications must occur within ten minutes. Instructions for accessing bid documents and participating in the opportunity are provided for interested suppliers.
