Sealed bids are requested for Building Controls at Finley Junior High School for Chicago Ridge School District 127.5. Lump sum proposals are to be submitted and will be publicly opened. A Bid Guarantee of at least ten percent (10%) of the bid is required in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Bank Draft. Successful bidders must provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for the contract's full amount. Bids must be submitted in an opaque sealed envelope clearly marked as SEALED BID. Each bidder must complete the qualification process described in Section 004395 by submitting required Qualification Documents with their bid, which will be reviewed to determine the lowest responsible bidder. Bidding documents, including drawings and manuals plus any addenda, are available electronically. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid meeting is required for general contractors, with subcontractors encouraged to attend. After the meeting, all attendees must visit the worksites for further information. B. Scope: The Work includes the work of all trades required; and all the labor, materials, and equipment necessary and incidental to the construction and completion of the Work. C. Work to be executed under one General Contract, including all trades. A mandatory pre-bid meeting for General contractors will be held at 3:30 p.m. prevailing time, on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at the school district #127.5 administration building located at 6135 West 108th Street, Chicago Ridge, IL 60415.
