Site work and paving for a road / highway in Salina, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Work shall consist of applying emulsified asphalt material to the existing asphalt pavement surfaces followed by an application of cover material at various locations within Saline County, Kansas. 1.2 COMPLETION OF PROJECT The Contractor accepting the work shall give the Saline County Road and Bridge Department written notification seven (7) days prior to any work on this project. The Contractor shall begin work only after a notice to proceed has been issued and must complete these projects by the following schedule. This work may commence no sooner than August 1, 2026 (Early Start Date) without written approval by Saline County and must be completed by October 16, 2026. However, no work shall be conducted during the time of wheat harvest activities unless otherwise approved by the Saline County Engineer. The Engineer shall determine the start and end of wheat harvest Any questions regarding the specifications or the bidding process are to be addressed to Saline County Engineers office at the Emailed bids must be sent to both maderj@salinecountyks.gov and arnoldk@salinecountyks.gov. or at (785) 826-6527.
