Bids for the construction of the Tausick Way Landfill Passive Gas Vents project. Work includes excavation of ten (10) trenches, each approximately twelve (12) feet deep, two (2) feet wide and forty (40) feet long, separated by 60 feet and in a line approximately 50 feet from the north property line. Work also includes backfilling trenches with permeable ballast and applying coarse compost to restore the area disturbed. Work will be completed in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard WSDOT Specifications. This contract is not Federally funded and Davis Bacon wage rates will not apply. The Contract time for all work shall be 20 working days. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Only properly executed bids submitted on the form furnished by the City will be accepted. Award will be based on the total bid. The City Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or waive any defects therein.
