Bid forms, contracts, and specifications are available from Remington & Vernick Engineers upon request and payment. Bids must be submitted on the designated bid form, enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the bidder's name and address, and reference to the specific work being bid. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent but not more than $20,000 of the bid amount, as well as a certificate letter from a surety company stating it will provide a completion bond. Compliance with various New Jersey laws and regulations such as Affirmative Action, Prevailing Wage Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Disclosure Statement, Public Works Contractor Registration Act, and submission of proof of business registration is required.
