Renovation of a recreation facility in Pikeville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a recreation facility.

This event is to bid for a one-time purchase (6-month contract) for the Tennessee Department of Environment & Conservation, covering renovations on 5 buildings at Fall Creek Falls State Park. Specifications and terms & conditions are attached. Bidders are instructed to read the entire bid, including event details, specifications, terms and conditions, and any other attachments. If the email notification link does not work, bidders should access the Supplier Portal and Bid Opportunities through the state website using their vendor ID and password. Bidders are reminded to submit their bid before the deadline, as the system will sign out users after 30 minutes of inactivity and passwords expire every 90 days. It is the responsibility of each bidder to maintain their profile information in the portal and keep it current. All questions must be submitted Cyndi O'Brien 615-532-0216 cynthia.a.o'brien@tn.gov DeleteEdit Bid Date 03/03/2026 at 2:00 PM CT Tennessee Department of Environment & Conservation Submit To: Environment & Consv Call for Shipping Information United States Contact: Cyndi O'Brien Phone: Email: Cynthia.A.O'Brien@tn.gov Description of Demolition or Associated Work All debris shall be removed from the park property and disposed of in accordance with all applicable regulations, unless specifically noted. 1) The Contractor shall remove 15 existing windows with frames. 2) The Contractor shall remove 1 existing exterior door with frame. 3) The Contractor shall remove all existing gutters, metal roof, siding, wall sheathing and insulation. 4) The Contractor shall remove any damaged or decayed wood and all loose paint. 5) The Contractor shall remove 8 existing support posts. 6) The Contractor shall remove all existing t1-11, trim and interior lights. 7) The Contractor shall remove 1 existing package unit including all duct air return and supply lines with grills and with thermostat and communication wire. 8) The Contractor shall remove 3 existing exterior spotlights, 1 existing pendant globe light and 1 existing 4-feet florescent light. 9) The Contractor shall remove all decayed/ rotten tongue and groove pine. New Work 1) The Contractor shall provide and install new standing seam roof with ridge cap, corner caps, drip edge, flashing and new underlayment. Contractor shall provide and install ice and water shield around entire perimeter of roof and over all ridges, there shall be synthetic felt installed over the entire roof where ice and water shield is not installed. 2) The Contractor shall provide and install new trusses sloped to inside on walkway connecting fishbowl to old main office. New roof shall have a minimum of 2/12-pitch. 3) The Contractor shall provide and install new insulation in all exterior walls. 4) The Contractor shall provide and install new wall sheathing on all exterior walls with tape covering all seams and butt joints. 5) The Contractor shall provide and install new board and batten siding on all exterior walls and trim on all corners, windows and doors over entire structure. Battens shall be installed 16-inches on center. 6) The Contractor shall provide and install new gutters with gutter guards on all sides of structure where water runs off. Gutters and downspouts shall match metal roofing color as close as possible. 7) The Contractor shall provide and install 3 new windows with frames; windows shall be installed in center of walls. 2 windows shall be 88-inches wide x 50-inches tall, 1 window shall be 44-inches wide x 50-inches tall. 8) The Contractor shall provide and install 1 new exterior store front door with frame. Door shall have a best lock insert with removeable core. Lock shall not include core; park will provide core. Door shall be standard size 36-inches x 84-inches. 9) The Contractor shall provide and install all lumber materials to frame walls where windows were removed. 10) The Contractor shall provide and install new wall receptacles and switches. There shall be 2 receptacles on all walls measuring over 6-feet in length and 1 receptacle on wall measuring over 2-feet wide, 3 new switches with new wall plate, color white shall
