Renovation of a multi-residential development in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation seeks bids for the rehabilitation of one home located in Rogers County. Work must adhere to the provided work write-up and be completed within 45 working days. The home has tested positive for ACM, so safe work practices as noted in the attached ACM Report are required. Work should begin within two weeks of notification, with liquidated damages of $100 per working day for extensions beyond the contract end date. To be considered responsive, bidders must fully complete the Mandatory Bid Response sheet and Work Write Up. TERO certification is required for preference and proof must be provided with submittals. Contractors must comply with Tribal rules, regulations, and TERO requirements, including applicable fees and labor agreement paperwork. The contract will be awarded to the lowest, most responsive bid subject to the HACN Procurement Policy and availability of funds. Bids must be submitted by the stated deadline. Bidders are responsible for all costs associated with bid preparation and submission. The HACN reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and to determine bidder capability and compliance with requirements. Indian preference applies for those with proof of certification. All TERO fees and agreements must be completed for contract execution. Any prospective bidder desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, specifications, drawings, etc., must request it at least 7 days before the scheduled time for bid opening.
