Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Sparta, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 31,852-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following 1. The work at Sparta Montessori includes renovations to the existing 1965 addition & 1951 original building. Those renovations include: flooring replacement, interior door panel replacement, exterior door & frame replacement, & updated finishes throughout the building. The level 2 alteration areas include an exterior canopy demolition and replacement with a new, steel framed canopy, rebuilt & re-clad exterior masonry walls on the 1990 addition, & relocated interior vestibule doors. There is additional re-roofing scope on portions of the existing 1965 addition & 1951 addition. The work also includes significant plumbing piping replacement, specific to the domestic water, sanitary, & storm piping. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. Question Deadline 03/06/2026 Bidders shall bring discrepancies, omissions, conflicts, or doubt as to true meaning of any part of contract documents to Market & Johnson's attention, in writing, at least five (5) days before the due date for bids. In general, the project consists of renovations to the inside of the Sparta Montessori school, including new flooring, paint, casework along with updated electrical, plumbing and some HVAC upgrades. Also included is masonry restoration and new masonry veneer on a portion of the buidlding. Site drainage items will also be addressed in the is project.
