Asotin County is soliciting interest from consulting firms with expertise in Civil Engineering Design for preliminary engineering services for the 15th Street Improvements Phase I and Fleshman Way Chip Seal projects. The consultant will prepare preliminary engineering design, environmental permitting, and bid-phase services for two federally funded transportation projects, all within existing County Right-of-Way. Two separate consultant agreements will be executed with the most highly qualified firm due to different federal funding sources for each project. Future construction management services may also be included once preliminary engineering is complete. For the 15th Street Improvements Phase I: Work includes installing new safety items such as roadway and pedestrian signage, jersey barriers, replacement/additional lighting along Scenic Way, and restriping of traffic lane markings and fog lines throughout the length of the project including intersections. For the Fleshman Way Chip Seal: Work includes application of a single shot chip seal and fog seal preservation on the entire width and length of Fleshman Way, including on/off ramps from 13th Street and Riverview Blvd, along with restriping of all roadway markings. Consultant Statements of Qualifications should include firm name, address, contact information, names of key personnel, and organizational structure. Submittals are limited to 10 pages, exclusive of resumes and cover letter. Any excess documentation will not be considered.
