The scope of work involves construction of a new, ADA compliant shared use path (SUP), the construction of ADA ramps, concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter, concrete driveways, asphalt paving (2" thick), demolition work, manhole cover adjustments, and the installation of permanent survey markers. The project is funded by the Federal Transportation Authority and is subject to federal provisions under 2 CFR 200 as part of the 5307 Urbanized Area Formula Funding Program (49 U.S.C. 5307), including but not limited to Davis Bacon prevailing wages and the Build America Buy America (BABA) Acts. The use of Small Business Concerns and DBE's is encouraged as required by Title 49 CFR 26.39. Materials must be sourced in compliance with the Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act under IIJA 70914(a). Competitive bids are required from qualified contractors. SCOPE OF WORK The Federal Transit Administration recently granted funds to the City of Sierra Vista in order to assist with the construction of facilities located within a 0.5 mile radius of existing bus stops. The project proposes the installation of public improvements in the form of sidewalks, curb and gutter, shared use paths, driveways, and/or lighting at various locations around existing bus stops within the City. SUP Lighting - Cyr Park - Kayetan to Cyr Center 6. Bartow Drive - Carmichael and 2nd Street 7. Bartow Drive - 2nd Street and 5th 8. Bartow Drive - 5th and 7th Street 9.
