This project is a seismic upgrade of the existing 1966 Classroom Wing (9,413 SF) at John F. Kennedy High School. Work includes demolition, installation of new seismic elements (shear walls, steel columns, HSS strongbacks, plywood sheathing, FRP), and selective reconstruction of finishes and utilities to accommodate the structural upgrades. Layout and occupancy remain unchanged. Proposers must complete and submit with their response all forms included in the package of documents for this solicitation. Failure to do so, or to submit an incomplete proposal, will likely cause the proposal to be deemed non-responsive and thus rejected. All bids are to be submitted on the bid form in Building Connected for each scope, with a copy of your proposal as an attachment. All bidders must clearly outline their ability, capacity, and associated cost to furnish payment and performance bonds covering the faithful performance of the subcontract and the payment for all obligations arising hereunder. P&C reserves the right to consider in the evaluation the ability of bidder to provide payment and performance bonds, the associated cost of payment and performance bonds, and the current financial resources of the bidder. This project is a prevailing wage project in accordance with Oregon Revised Statutes 279C.800-870. All bidders must be registered with the Construction Contractors Board at the time of submission of their proposal and carry all licensing and bonding required for a public project in the State of Oregon.
