Renovation of a conference / convention center in Lacombe, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a conference / convention center.
The purpose of this project is to proactively replace the Air Handling Unit prior to a complete system failure, at the Lacombe Memorial Centre. Due to the public nature of our building, we need to limit downtime to minimize impact on bookings. The heat wheel serving Air Handling Unit 1 was experiencing mechanical deterioration and operational failure. This air handling unit is original to the building and has exceeded its anticipated service life of 15 years. It is a HAAKON Industries PENTPAK Air Handling Unit with a Capacity of 3514 CFM. Remove and dispose of the existing air handling unit Supply new unit to site including crane supply Disconnect and reconnect hydronic piping and electrical wiring Connect new unit to our existing Metasys BMS controls Provide air balance to the new AHU.
