Site work and paving for a civil project in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and bridge / tunnel.
Overlay town roads with approximately 1300 tons of asphalt WisDOT spec type 4MT 58-28S to an average compacted thickness of 1.75 inches in one lift, including sweeping and applying tack coat (bid per ton, marked "Asphaltic Overlay"). Deliver approximately 7,600 tons of decomposed granite for resurfacing approximately 3.5 miles of roads at any location within the Town (bid per ton, marked "Decomposed Granite," accompanied by gravel specifications). Provide 250 tons (more or less) of asphalt patching WisDOT spec type 4MT 58-28S on various roads (bid per ton, marked "Asphalt Patching"). Provide 500 tons (more or less) of asphalt wedging WisDOT spec type 5MT 58-28S on various roads (bid per ton, marked "Asphalt Wedging"). Crack sealing of approximately 5 miles of roads (bid per pound, marked "Crack Sealing"). Concrete bridge deck surface sealing of approximately 11,000 sf for listed structures, work under full road closure, bid per structure. Quantities may change if construction limits are adjusted. All measurements and payments to be for in-place quantities. Contractor responsible for all traffic control. Proof of insurance must accompany bid. Sealed bids must be submitted as specified with appropriate job marking.
