Architectural and engineering services will be required to be provided as and when required in support of the following types of projects: new buildings, building additions, building renovations and office fit up for accommodation, laboratories, ammunition storage facilities, storage facilities and workshops, offices, training buildings, kitchens and messes, gymnasiums, recreational complexes and armouries; mechanical and heating system upgrades, ventilation and air conditioning including fire suppression systems; electrical systems including connections for communication, security systems and access controls, instrumentation, and controls; feasibility studies; structures, demolition and construction and upgrading of parking lots, municipal services and site work. Services may include, but are not limited to, preparation of Statement of Requirement or Construction Requirement Options Analysis, preparation of Concept Design Development, preparation of Construction Documents or Performance Specifications, tender phase services, and construction phase services. Bidders must hold or obtain all required security clearances prior to contract award, with the anticipated security clearance level being Facility Security Clearance (FSC) at the level of SECRET. Consultants interested in submitting a proposal who do not actively hold the required security clearance should begin the security clearance application process through Defence Construction Canada's Industrial Security Program.
