Description

Renovation of a municipal facility in Bettendorf, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Work will include the installation of a complete automatic fire sprinkler system in accordance with NFPA 13 standards at the Bettendorf Public Works Building, located at 4403 Devils Glen Road, Bettendorf, Iowa 52722. The bidder to whom the Contract is awarded shall commence work on or after the date to begin work set forth in a Notice to Proceed from the City or its authorized representative, to the Contractor. All work shall be done in strict compliance with the plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer of the Engineering Division of the Public Works Department of Bettendorf, Iowa. All work on this contract shall be completed by July 31, 2026. Liquidated damages in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars and no/100 ($500.00) per calendar day shall be charged for every day past the completion date.
