Bids are requested for Additions and Renovations to Littlebrook Elementary School, together with all work incidental thereto, in accordance with the requirements set forth by the Bid Documents. The Single Overall Contract (FVHD-5516D) requires the bidder to be classified in the DPMC: C008 or C009 Prime Contractor category, with C029, C030, C032, C047 Subcontractors. Bid Proposals must be submitted in duplicate (one original and one copy) in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Owner, clearly marked with the contract title and/or bid number. Each proposal must include a bid bond or certified cashier's check payable to the Owner equal to 10% of the bid amount (not exceeding $20,000), and a Certificate of Consent of Surety obligating the surety to provide statutory performance and payment bonds in the full contract amount. The Consent of Surety must be from an approved surety company authorized in New Jersey. If the bid exceeds $20,000, bidders must be prequalified by the New Jersey Division of Property Management and Construction in the classifications listed. All bidders and their subcontractors must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development and present current certificates. Bidders on the State Treasurer's or Federal Government's List of Debarred, Suspended, or Disqualified Bidders are ineligible.
