Site work for a water / sewer project in Bishop, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work generally consists of replacement of existing water main facilities, including new water main, valves, service laterals, appurtenances, traffic control, surface restoration, and related work within City streets and portions of Caltrans right-of-way. Bids must be submitted on forms furnished by the City and must be accompanied by bid security in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The contractor shall possess a valid California Class A or Class C-34 contractor's license at the time of bid. The City of Bishop reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or minor irregularities in the bidding process.
