Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Hickory, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The City of Hickory is conducting a qualification-based selection process to retain a proponent for professional engineering services for the Springs Road Transmission Main. Interested firms or teams are invited to submit a written Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) in accordance with the criteria established. A Project Screening Committee will evaluate qualifications and experience with similar projects, rank submittals, and may interview a shortlist of candidates. The most qualified firm or team will then be selected for negotiations. If negotiations are not successful, the next ranked firm or team will be invited. Submittals must be received by the specified deadline, and late entries will not be considered. The City reserves the right to reject any or all submittals, to withhold awarding a contract, and to waive or not waive any informalities. Contact with City Council or other influential individuals regarding this RFQ is forbidden and will result in immediate rejection from the process. All specific submittals will remain confidential until sealed proposals are opened.
