Site work for a water / sewer project in Hickory, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The City of Hickory is seeking to retain a proponent for professional engineering services to conduct a condition assessment of the Water Treatment Facility 2MG and 1MG clearwells. Firms/teams are invited to submit a written Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) that addresses the criteria established. Submittals will be evaluated by a project screening committee based on qualifications and experience with similar projects. The City may create a shortlist for interviews before selecting the most qualified firm/team for negotiations. All SOQs must be received by the specified deadline, and any received after the due date and time will not be considered. The City reserves the right to reject any or all submittals or to withhold awarding a contract and may waive informalities in any submittal. Contact with City Council or other influential individuals regarding the selection process is forbidden and grounds for rejection from the process. All submittal content will remain confidential until proposals are unsealed.
