Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hickory, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This Project will demolish the existing curbing, mill the asphalt, and remove the existing stormwater on 1st St NW and Government Ave SW, and install new stormwater, concrete curb, gutter, and asphalt in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by City of Hickory - Engineering Department, titled "Downtown Streetscapes." All permits and fees are to be included. Question Deadline 01/27/2026 at 2:00 PM ET Written requests for clarification must be submitted electronically to Zachary Houston at zhouston@hickorync.gov. Tender has been cancelled. No bids received. The project will be re-tendered in early 2026.
