The City of Hickory is conducting a qualification-based selection process to retain a proponent for professional engineering services for Henry Fork Streambank and Sewer Improvements. Interested firms or teams are invited to submit a written Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) according to established criteria. The City will evaluate qualifications and experience with similar projects, rank the submittals, and potentially create a shortlist for interviews with the project committee. The most qualified firm or team will be selected for negotiations to complete the project. If negotiations fail, the next ranked firm or team will be invited to negotiate. Contact with City Council or other influential individuals regarding this request is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate rejection. All submittals must be received by the specified deadline. The City reserves the right to reject any or all submittals, withhold awarding a contract, and waive or not waive any informalities in the submittal.
