Demolition and renovation of a municipal facility in Frankfort, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,350-square-foot municipal facility; and 1,000-square-foot municipal facility.
FSS Exterior Repairs KY History Center Building The scope of this project encompasses the selective demolition and subsequent renovation of two exterior concrete stairs/ramps at the Kentucky Historical Center in Frankfort, KY. Site D is approximately 2,350 square feet and Site E is approximately 1,000 square feet. The scope includes site clearing and selective demolition, new concrete paving and stairs, salvage and reinstallation of donor brick pavers, new handrails and guardrails, and site restoration. All sites where concrete is recommended to be replaced, the design team has considered durable replacement options related to concrete mix, reinforcing, and rail embedment. High performance concrete mix with additives, sealers, non-corrosive reinforcement, and proper design for drainage will be used to increase the lifespan compared to standard concrete stairs using typical mix. ONLY ONLINE BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Emailed and hard copies delivered by any method will not be accepted. Bidders must enter $0.00 for Contract Amount in the e-procurement system and enter the actual Contract Amount on the 'Official Bid Document' submitted as an attachment. Vendors should review and update addresses and contact persons prior to bid submission. The entire Official Bid Document and Bid Bond (if required) should be combined as one PDF and uploaded. Bidders are instructed to see drawings and specifications for all contract details. Question Deadline 03/06/2026 All questions regarding the meaning or interpretation of the bidding documents shall be directed in writing to the purchasing officer. Unless otherwise specified in the Solicitation, questions received less than ten (10) calendar days prior to the date for receipt of bids may not be answered.
