The work to be performed under this contract includes the removal of the existing pre-packaged self priming lift station equipment and the installation of submersible non-clog sewage pumping equipment. Separate sealed bids are required and must be submitted to the designated engineering office by the specified date and time. Instructions to Bidders, Bid Form, Agreement Between Owner and Contractor, Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bonds, Drawings and Specifications, and other contract documents may be examined at the office of Pan American Engineers, LLC. Bidders are required to submit a security deposit of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid price with their bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract amount. Bidders must also have an active Unique Entity ID (UEI) and be registered with the Federal System of Award (SAM) Registration Program prior to award of contract. Conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract include compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act, Section 503 and 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Executive Order 11246, the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993, and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
