Steel Lined Walls and Ceilings Sealed bids are requested to furnish all labor, materials, use of contractor's equipment, plant, and all else necessary to properly construct all improvements for the West Plant Service Shop. Bidders must submit bids that accurately reflect unit prices for all estimated quantities and must visit the site to verify conditions and quantities. Bids must be signed by an authorized representative and submitted on the enclosed bid sheet, clearly marked as "West Plant Service Shop." Faxed bids will not be accepted. All prices must be quoted F.O.B. City of Norfolk. Each bid must include a bid bond or certified check equal to five percent of the total bid amount, payable to the Treasurer, City of Norfolk. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond for one hundred percent of the total bid price and enter into a contract within ten days of the Notice of Award. The work is to be completed at the West Water Treatment Plant, with all work to be completed by the specified deadline. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informality, and determine responsive and responsible bidders.
