Description

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Burnaby, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 23,300-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.

McELHANNEY PROJECT 2111-06694-00 BCIT is seeking to shortlist three to five General Contractors to be prequalified to participate in a subsequent Invitation to Tender for renovations and tenant improvements to a one-storey concrete, steel, and unit masonry building measuring 23,300 square feet, located on BCITs Burnaby campus. The renovated building will house trade shops, logistics, and administration functions. The work includes site modifications with construction of a ramped loading bay. Preliminary construction documents at the Building Permit stage prepared by the consultant team are included for reference. Construction is scheduled to start mid-April and is anticipated to be fast-tracked to completion within 2-3 months.
