Renovation of an educational facility in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed proposals are sought for locker room renovations at the Atlantic City High School. Bids must be submitted by the designated date and time. Bids are required to be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, treasurer's check, or bid bond in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid, not exceeding $20,000, naming the Atlantic City Board of Education as obligee. Each bid must also include a certificate from a surety company stating it will provide the required bond amount. Bidders must be registered pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act and provide proof of registration with the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue. The project is subject to laws governing prequalification of bidders, prevailing wage rates, and the use of domestic materials. Bids must be sent via certified delivery and may not be withdrawn for 60 days after opening. The right is reserved to waive minor irregularities and reject bids. Bidders must comply with state anti-discrimination laws and regulations. Every request for such interpretations should be made in writing to the school district's purchasing administrator at abyngs@acboe.org and to be given consideration must be received at least ten (10) business days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids
