Site work for a water / sewer project in Berkeley, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of rehabilitating approximately 3,183 feet of existing 6" and 8" VCP sewer mains with 12" sewer mains using open trench methods in the City of Albany. The work also includes installation of new lower laterals for the replaced sewer lines, installation of new manhole structures, rehabilitation of existing manhole structures, and restoration of all private and public improvements and landscaping, including all labor, equipment and materials, together with traffic control. The successful bidder must possess a valid California Class A General Engineering Contractor's license and be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations. Bidders are required to submit a Bid Proposal with a ten percent bid security, and provide performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract price. Each subcontractor must be registered with the DIR, and a completed Subcontractor List form is required. Prevailing wage requirements apply. All bidders should review the Instructions to Bidders before submitting a proposal.
