Sealed bids are invited for the construction of ADA compliant stairs and handrails on the hillside to connect the upper parking lot to the new concrete landing behind the bleachers, ensuring that drainage is not restricted. Handrails must be 38 inches high with a diameter of 2 inches, and the stairs must be 48 inches wide. The contractor is required to stake the layout for approval prior to construction. All disturbed areas must be seeded and covered with straw or sodded. Bids should be submitted in sealed envelopes, clearly marked with 'bid to RHS Baseball Stairway,' the name of the person or firm submitting the bid, and all appropriate license and insurance information. Bids will only be accepted from responsible firms or persons capable of completing the work. The board has committed to award the bid to the low bidder but reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities.
